And Away We Go!

What if there were no grownups? Suppose the whole idea of grownups was an illusion? What if their money was really just playground marbles, their business deals no more than baseball-card trades, their wars only games of guns in the park? What if they were all still snotty-nosed kids inside their suits and dresses? That couldn’t be, could it? It was too horrible to think about. -Stephen King

My name is Ken Muise, and I’ve been a passionate baseball card collector for nearly four decades. I was born and raised in Gloucester, MA, I started collecting in 1986, collecting Donruss rated rookies of Canseco and Vince Coleman. I was a big fan of Doc Gooden and even bought a Mets hat, which didn’t go over well with my Red Sox-loving grandfather!ย  I’m a huge Sox fan now and have been since about 1987. LOL

When I was 19, I joined the Army and unfortunately had to put my collecting on hold. I placed all my cards and comics in the basement of our rented apartment, and my mom sold them all for a measly $400. We definitely got the short end of that deal, especially considering I had some valuable Stephen King first editions, Puckett and Canseco rookies….man.

After years away from the hobby, I recently rediscovered my passion for baseball cards. I’m now all in, looking to collect, make connections, have fun, rip packs, grade cards, and even sell for a profit.

I’m excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with other collectors. Feel free to reach out to me on Facebook, Instagram, email, or here on the site. You can also check out my eBay store for a selection of cards I’m currently selling.

Happy collecting!
